Dear Members,
Today VicSport approved Ice Skating Victoria's Return to Play Plan for Figure Skating.
This plan outlines the rules, processes and procedures for safely restarting Figure Skating in Victoria. It is a requirement that all Victorian's participating in Figure Skating adhere to the requirements outlined in the plan. This includes all athletes, parents, coaches, officials, clubs and spectators.
Ice Skating Victoria has also developed a policy to sit alongside the plan. This is a streamlined version of the plan outlining each person's personal responsibility when participating in Figure Skating.
I ask that all members read both documents and familiarise themselves with the requirements so that Figure Skating can restart safely for everyone.

The plan and policy will be kept updated throughout the year as restrictions ease.
A process for safely conducting test sessions will be distributed closer to the first session in July.
In other news, this week Ice Skating Victoria finalised the requirements for AFSC qualification. This new policy is available on the Policies page of the website under Athlete Development.
