About ISV

Ice Skating Victoria Incorporated (ISV) is the state administrative body for all disciplines of figure skating in Victoria.

ISV incorporates Singles Skating, Pair Skating, Synchronised Skating, Ice Dance, and Solo Dance, for all skaters from beginners to champions. ISV conducts figure skating competitions and championships, as well as compliance based test sessions that adhere to the regulatory requirements of Ice Skating Australia (ISA) and the International Skating Union (ISU).

ISV’s role in Victorian Figure Skating

  • To regulate, administer and promote the sport of figure skating
  • To educate the clubs, members, skaters, officials and judges
  • To conduct ISA test sessions and ISA benchmark competitions
  • To host the Victorian (ISA Benchmark) State Championships
  • To support the transition of Aussie Skate athletes to the IJS competitive levels
  • To support and create a respectful and cohesive community through positive action and communication
  • To liaise with ISV’s affiliated figure skating clubs, media outlets, and government funding bodies to support the broad development of the sport of figure skating in Victoria.
