World Championships, Saitama Japan, 2023

Holly HARRIS and Jason CHAN recently competed at the ISU World Championships in Saitama, Japan placing 16th in the Rhythm Dance and 15th in the Free Dance for an overall placement of 16th (http://www.isuresults.com/resu...).

There was a very small error in the Rhythm Dance and then a flawless Season's Best in the Free Dance and if you are ever going to do a season's best, World Championships is certainly the place to do it. This will give them an enormous amount of confidence going into the 23/24 season after they have had a small break for recovery and family.

The event took place in the 18,000 seat capacity Saitama Super Arena and the Free Dance hosted a full house. I'm sure Holly and Jason really enjoyed competing in that sort of atmosphere in front of an enthusiastic and knowledgable crowd.

Holly and Jason's 2022/23 season has been their busiest and best to date and they are training very hard at their base in Montreal, Canada. If you are interested in an insight on how the best in the business go about their preparation, please have a look at Holly's vlog on YouTube (@hollyharris).

ISV wish Holly and Jason all the best for their 2023/24 season

ISV would also like to acknowledge the phenomenal efforts of NSWISA skaters Anastasia GOLUBEVA and Hektor GIOTOPOULOS MOORE who competed in the Pairs division and finished in 8th place.
