ISV would like to congratulate all athletes who competed at last weekend's Crystal Challenge. It was a delight to finally have big entry skating back in the state and to see the athletes out there doing what they do best. Well done to the coaches for their preparation over such a tough time for us all.
We would also like to acknowledge the incredible logistics and planning undertaken by MFSC and specifically Julie-Anne Oaten and Bronwyn Argentino. There are many, many hours that go into organising an event of this magnitude and these two ladies led an amazing group of volunteers to produce a great competition.
I would also like to acknowledge the incredible efforts of past ISV President, Andrew Taylor, in getting the IJS system back up and running following a catasptrophic technical failure on Friday. Our association is very fortunate to have access to his services. I would also like to thank Cheryl McKewen and Kate Rotondo from Queensland who helped us navigate the new software for running the event and for their tireless efforts. Thank you to all the officials who were there to help us out.
